Programs for Adults with Disabilties
Anixter Center has proudly served hundreds of thousands of people in the Chicago area since 1919. Today, we focus our work on serving people with disabilities, mental health needs, and people who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing through a variety of programs.

The law requires businesses and agencies to make certain accommodations to provide Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing people an equal opportunity to participate in services offered to the public. CHS helps you locate and employ qualified and licensed sign language interpreters, certified deaf interpreters and real-time caption services.
Information for Interpreters & Mentorship Program
We value the relationship we have with the interpreters who work with us. Through our workshops and mentorship program, we continue to build the skills of interpreters who work with CHS.
